Claudia Jelea is an IT lawyer and trademark attorney. For the past 15 years, she has been focusing her career mainly on the areas of intellectual property (IP), IT law, e commerce, and personal data protection (GDPR included). She helps clients who wish to protect and exploit their IP assets (trademarks, copyright, databases, designs, trade secrets, Internet domain names) and assists them with legal compliance, contract drafting and negotiations.
She graduated law school at the University of Bucharest and two master’s programmes in IT law and, respectively, in European IP law at Stockholm University, Sweden.
Claudia runs Jlaw.ro - a boutique shop of tailored legal services and IP Boutique - trademark agency. Their clients usually come from the creative industries and over 90% of them are start-ups and medium-sized companies in the business of online, e-commerce, new tech, software development, mobile apps and mobile games.
